Camp!!

Hello bloggers

Not too long ago, we went to camp with the year 6’s and year’5. We went to a lot of places in the north of New Zealand like Waipu cove and more. It took 2 hours to get there and we had a break there,  I will be telling you about my camp for 5 days there I’m going to start with my favorite day.

It was day four because we went kayaking and it was my first time kayaking it was really fun to do, but it was hard because the first time I didn’t know how to do it. Then I learned how to do it. Then I went really fast doing it, it was my favorite day there, but before that we had to walk up a mountain like two times. That it for that day.

Day 1, it was fun and cool to go somewhere else from Auckland. Then we stop like a couple times to get fresh air, But when we got to our cabins it was nice to lay down on the bed then we export the cabins, but thank god i got the queen size the it was nice to play game with my friends,   eat and sleep,

Day three, Now it was really cool because now we took a boat to go sand boarding the water was nice and clear and cold to   in. The sand was really nice and warm and it was high up, it was scary the first time. When I went down i almost fell off, then i got the hang of it now it was  pretty fun.

Parihaka

Hello Bloggers

Parihaka is a day of remembering events that happened  143 years ago. We celebrated so we had to wear white on this day but on Thursday we made a headband we had to wear it and white means peace.  A Government tries to steal land from the people. But Every one protested to keep the land, people got kicked out of there land. They went to other land to live there but a Government to steal that land but they did not went to move or  fight against them. They just did not fight they  did Sing on the front of the land and it had no violence.  It started in Taranaki a place on the North Island in New Zealand.

Black Ferns GO!!

Let’s go Black Ferns I hope you win against Wales if you win that would be amazing and win five times and another win that would be so cool. I want the Quarter-Final To go well and if you make it to the Final It would be really nice for New Zealand. So if you win this is so cool. And add more Win for this country and try your best if you win I would like to be happy for you and for your whole team. It would be nice to win a lot of times so just try your best at the game on 29/10/22 against Scotland Go Black Ferns. and try your best at the game And go win this for New Zealand. I hope your newest player Sylvia Brunt try’s her best.

My Trip to the Museum

Kia Ora Bloggers on the 18th of October  I will tell you about the trip to the Auckland Museum! Before the term we had to get a notice and parents had to sign it so we could go to the Museum when Term 4 starts on the 2nd day of school we went the the museum .When we reached the museum we had to go with the adults and wait outside for all the adults then we went and put our bags. There was another school there so if we saw them we just had to watch out for them. So first we went into the Volcano room they showed the rock that from a volcano and we learned the explosions then we packed stuff for Volcano Explosions. Then we finished the volcano room so when we left. We had a board to look for. It took a long time to find all of it. After we had a break.

After the break we went to look at a really old thing but it was really cool to look at. We looked at the graph then we went to explore all the items. Then we look at everything here It is beautiful to look at. When we finished we were going to the Maori section.

Bye Bloggers

Here is some work I did about this.

Muriwai Beach

Kia Ora on 22th  of 2022 the Year 5 and 4 went to Muriwai Beach to learn about the lifeguards . They told  us all about  what they do as  lifeguards and we learnt about the rips in the sea.   if no lifeguard then you call 111 for the police if you need help then they tell the lifeguard to come to the rescue. Then they showed us the boats, one of the boats is the IRB. Then we sew  jet  skis and the buggy and the medical stuff.  If you see the rips don’t go in the water. Swimming between the flags is important and be with an adult. Don’t go out of the flags, stay in the flags.  if you’re fishing in case wear a lifeJacket of big waves. Then we went to go  swimming the adults made a Square in the water and the kids had some fun. Some Of the kids have a boogie board after 10 minutes we switched over with the kids  that had a turn on the Boogie Board. Then it started to rain and make big puddles on the way Back to the lifeguard Club.
